Hi, my name is João and I am a Tourist Guide working in Portugal and abroad.
Born and raised in Lisbon, most of my tours take place in Lisbon and it’s surroundings, but I am licensed to work all over the country. Sometimes I spend only a day with some clients, while with others I spend full weeks.
I started working in tourism around 2006 in several Active Tourism companies, such as Vertente Natural, Naturway or Tuper as a freelance monitor & assistant guide.
Since then, studying and developing my skills on Tourism, Art and Culture, always trying to keep updated and seeing my profession and life as a continuous learning process.

- At the moment, taking the Masters in Art History and Heritage.
After several years working in tourism, I am now working only as an Official Tourist Guide, devoting my knowledge and dedication to the highest quality incoming tourism.
I’ve worked with most of the Travel Agents and DMC´s in Portugal, and with some of the most renowned worldwide.
My core business are tailor made tours and private clients, as I am also an assistant and event specialist at MICE industry.
